The company applies for trademarks of its current products:

TRI™ Thermal Runaway Inhibitor for increased safety in lithium-ion batteries.
NLS™ Nonfluorinated Lithium Salts that are more environmentally friendly and much cheaper than fluorinated salts in current use.
FRE™ Flame-Retarding Electrolyte - A complete lithium ion battery electrolyte system, featuring a flame-retardant to improve safety.

TechDrive receives a new Phase-I grant from DOE

The company is awarded a new SBIR Phase-I grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a new low-cost lithium salts for small and full size rechargeable batteries.

July 18, 2001

TechDrive receives a new Phase-II grant from DOE

The company is informed of its selection by the U.S. Department of the Army for a new SBIR Phase-II award to develop low temperature flame-retarding electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries.
